Project SIR

Project SIR reaches majority of campus workstations

Since ITS launched the Sensitive Information Remediation Project, better known as Project SIR, in August 2014, more than 20,500 Identity Finder clients have been deployed, representing more than 84 percent of campus workstations.

ITS continues to collaborate with University schools and departments to facilitate employees in scanning and remediating data within their stewardship and to foster a culture of proper custodianship of sensitive information.

By educating users about sensitive data, proper custodianship of sensitive data will continue long after the conclusion of the project.
